1. Overview
Welcome to Slideklip. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") shall govern your use of the Slideklip website, slideklip.com ("Website") and all presentation templates, digital products, and services offered through our platform ("Products").
Your access to the Website or effectuating the purchase of any Products shall constitute your acceptance of, and agreement to be bound by, these Terms. Should you dissent from these Terms, you must refrain from utilizing our Website or acquiring our Products.
2. Definitions
- "Product" means any presentation template, digital file, or downloadable content available for acquisition on Slideklip.
- "License" means the rights conferred upon the Licensee following the purchase of a Product.
- "Standard License" means the License restricted to personal, non-commercial utilization.
- "Extended License" means the License conferred for commercial utilization, subject to defined limitations.
- "End Product" means any work generated by the Licensee utilizing a Product.
- "Personal Use" means utilization for the Licensee's own purposes that is not intended to generate revenue or commercial advantage.
- "Commercial Use" means utilization intended to generate revenue, profit, or commercial advantage.
3. License Types
Slideklip offers two types of licenses for our Products:
Standard License
For personal, non-commercial use only
- Personal presentations
- Educational purposes
- Portfolio showcase
- Commercial projects
- Client work
Extended License
For commercial use with rational limitations
- Everything in Standard
- Commercial presentations
- Client work (up to 5 clients)
- Internal business use
- Resale or redistribution
4. Standard License
The Standard License grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Product for personal, non-commercial purposes only.
4.1 Permitted Uses
- Personal presentations for yourself, family, or friends
- Educational presentations for school, university, or learning purposes
- Showcase in your personal portfolio (with attribution)
- Internal presentations within a non-profit organization
- Personal social media content (non-monetized)
4.2 Prohibited Uses
- Any utilization that yields revenue, profit, or commercial advantage
- Creation of presentations for clients, customers, or other third parties
- Utilization in connection with any business activity
- Redistribution, resale, or sublicensing of the Product
- Integration as a component of a product or service offered for sale
- Personal social media content (if monetized)
5. Extended License
The Extended License grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Product for commercial purposes with the following limitations.
5.1 Permitted Uses
- All uses permitted under the Standard License
- Commercial presentations for your business or organization
- Client presentations (limited to 5 unique clients per Product)
- Internal corporate training and communications
- Marketing and promotional materials
- Pitch decks and investor presentations
- Webinars and online courses (as part of presentation content)
5.2 Limitations
- Client Limitation: Utilization is restricted to a maximum of 5 distinct clients per purchased Product
- End Product Limitation: Creation is restricted to a maximum of 1,000 unique End Products per purchased Product
- Seat Limitation: The License is restricted to a single user/seat within the Licensee's organization
If you need to exceed these limitations, please contact us for a custom licensing arrangement.
5.3 Not Permitted
- Redistribution or resale of the Product in its original or modified form
- Use in on-demand applications (e.g., template generation services)
- Incorporation into products for resale
- Transfer or sublicensing to third parties
6. General Restrictions
Irrespective of the License acquired, the following restrictions shall apply to all Products:
- No Redistribution: The Licensee shall not redistribute, share, or otherwise render the Product available to others, whether in its original or substantially similar form.
- No Resale: The Licensee shall not sell, license, or sublicense the Product or any derivative works thereof.
- No Template Services: The Licensee shall not utilize the Product within any automated or on-demand template generation system.
- No Claiming Ownership: The Licensee shall not claim the Product as their own original work or seek its registration for copyright.
- No Offensive Use: The Licensee shall not utilize the Product in any manner that is unlawful, harmful, defamatory, or offensive.
- No Trademark Registration: The Licensee shall not register the Product or any part thereof as a trademark.
7. Intellectual Property
All Products, including but not limited to designs, layouts, graphics, code, and documentation, are the intellectual property of Slideklip and are protected by copyright and other applicable intellectual property laws.
The acquisition of a Product confers a license to utilize the Product strictly in accordance with these Terms; it does not confer any copyright or any ownership rights in the Product itself.
Slideklip shall retain all rights, title, and interest in and to the Products, including all intellectual property rights therein.
8. Payment and Refunds
8.1 Payment
All prices are displayed in USD unless otherwise specified. Full payment is required at the time of purchase via our accepted payment methods.
8.2 Refund Policy
Due to the digital nature of the Products, refunds are not generally provided subsequent to a Product's download. Notwithstanding the foregoing, refund requests may be considered in the following limited circumstances:
- The Product significantly deviates from its description
- The Product file is corrupted and cannot be accessed
- Technical issues prevent the download of the Product (within 7 days of the date of purchase)
Refund requests must be formally submitted within 14 days of the date of purchase. Please contact our support team, providing your order details and the stated reason for the refund request.
9. Account Terms
- The Licensee must be a minimum of 18 years of age to create an account and effectuate purchases.
- The Licensee bears sole responsibility for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials.
- The Licensee shall be accountable for all activities conducted under their account.
- The Licensee must furnish accurate and complete information upon the creation of an account.
- The Licensee is prohibited from utilizing another individual's account without express permission.
10. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend the Licensee's account and access to our Website at any time, without prior notice, for any cause, including but not limited to:
- Violation of these Terms
- Fraudulent or illegal activity
- Abuse of the license terms
- Non-payment or disputed payments
Upon termination, your license to use any purchased Products remains valid according to the terms under which they were purchased, provided the Licensee has not violated these Terms.
11. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
Our Products are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that our Products will meet the Licensee's specific requirements or that they will be error-free.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Slideklip shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to the Licensee's use of the Products or Website.
Our aggregate and total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Licensee's utilization of the Products shall be strictly limited to the monetary value remitted by the Licensee for the specific Product giving rise to such claim.
